The 1974 graduating class of Normandy High School, quite possibly the greatest of all-time, is preparing to celebrate our 50th reunion. Please save the date! The reunion committee is working diligently to put together a first-class event. The date and location are set. We will be providing more information in the weeks and months.

Plans are also underway to secure a venue for a casual "Pre-Game" event the night before the reunion. More to come.

In the meantime, we need help finding classmates. If you have not already done so, please send your contact information to normandyreunion74@gmail.com. By doing so, you will be on the list to receive the most up-to-date information regarding our Big 50 event. Please share with everyone from our class that you know. With more than 700 people in our class, we hope for another great turnout for this landmark event. Thank you!

The Reunion Committee has planned a wonderful event at a great venue. The event will include a buffet dinner with a great selection of food choices. We have also scheduled a live band and a DJ to set the mood. With any luck, musical members from the Class of 1974 will stand in for the band a perform as well. There will be memorabilia familiar to our classmates and plenty of photo opportunities. But most importantly, after 50 years, this magical class will reunite in the Invader's sprit for fun and reminiscing. Won't you join us?

Hotel Discounted Room Block

The Reunion Committee has negotiated a block of rooms at the newly remodeled Holiday Inn Independence, 6001 Rockside Road at deeply discounted rate of $122 per night plus taxes.

There are a limited number of rooms in our block that will be available either until they are filled or on August 27th, when they will be released to the public. Rooms on floors 1, 4 and 5 have been renovated. IMPORTANT: The only way you can be assured one of the remodeled rooms is to request the 2 Queens Standard option (while supplies last). King Standard and 2 Double Standard options are located on all of the floors and availability on floors 1, 4 and 5 will be based on first-come, first serve.

The Holiday Inn Independence features Club Impulse, a cocktail bar that is open on Fridays and Saturdays until 1 AM, that generally features dance music via DJ or live band. It should be a great gathering place after Reunion festivities.

The Holiday Inn Independence cannot guarantee you will get a room on the remodeled floors.

Sadly, names that are italicized are classmates who we have been informed have sadly passed away. All remaining names are people that we have yet to reach.
